Sigillus was founded by a dynamic entrepreneur Paola Diana. Through her successful international household and childcare search consultancy, Nanny & Butler, she has provided carefully matched staff to clients including royal families, dignitaries and high-net-worth individuals for almost a decade. Paola’s innate understanding of her clients’ needs, challenges and aspirations allowed her to create a truly bespoke service, and highlighted the opportunity to assist her clients in other areas.
Our Founder: Paola Diana, Entrepreneur and Author
Paola Diana is an Italian entrepreneur, mother and author living between London and Rome. She is the founder and executive chairman of Sigillus, an international members-only lifestyle management company. Paola is also the founder of Nanny & Butler, a leading global bespoke search consultancy agency leader in the placement of childcare and household staff.
Paola was educated at Bologna University. She studied Political Science and she achieved an MA in Communication. She spent five years working for the Former European and Italian President Romano Prodi political campaign and she was the director of his supporting Think Tank, before becoming an entrepreneur.
In January 2016 Paola published in Italy “Saving the world. Women: the XXI century’s change factor”, which will be published in the UK by Quartet Books of Naim Attallah. The book explores the reasons why all nations need to have many more women at the top of political and economic sectors. As a female entrepreneur, equal rights expert and tireless campaigner for female welfare and employment rights, Paola contributes regularly to TV and radio, conferences and policy meetings focused on the subject.
Jacopo Redi has been in the Asset Management and Wealth Management world for 20 years. He started his career at Lombard Odier & Cie managing Fixed Income Portfolios for both Institutional and Private Clients. In 2002 he joined the Family Business Redi & Partners as Director of the Investment Advisory Team for several Funds of Hedge Funds of Lyxor and BNP Paribas. In 2016 he became Managing Director of Berger van Berchem & Cie London subsidiary. Jacopo has travelled all his life and has lived and worked in London, Paris, New York and Milan.
James Rae is a seasoned management consultant helping FTSE 250 improve their customer experience and business services. He also has a track record in innovation management and start-ups. He works between Italy, UK and USA. Prior to his 15 years in management consultancy, he worked in the high-end fashion retail. James is currently living in London and the island of Capri.
Pablo Terpolilli is a professional advisor with broad experience in financing and investing. Mr. Terpolilli acted as head of corporate finance for a multi billion family owned global industrial conglomerate with interests in oil & gas, metals, chemicals, logistics and commodities trading. He worked with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse in New York. Mr. Terpolilli also worked for Goldman Sachs and participated in several European leveraged financing deals with institutional investors. Mr. Terpolilli co-founded Knightsbridge Partners and currently on its Advisory Board.
